INDIANAPOLIS - George Hill and Paul George each scored 26 points Monday to lead Indiana over Minnesota 98-84, giving the Pacers their 13th triumph in 14 games to open the NBA season.
George went 4-of-4 from 3-point range and contributed eight rebounds, four steals and four assists for the Pacers, who improved to 8-0 at home. Hill added seven assists and five steals.
Kevin Love led the Timberwolves with 20 points and 17 rebounds but it was Minnesota's four loss in the past five games.
Montenegrin center Nikola Pekovic added 18 points and 11 rebounds in a losing cause as Minnesota slid to 8-8 overall.
The Pacers led 73-68 after three quarters and began the final period with a 17-5 run, capped by a Luis Scola 3-point play, to seal the victory.
Lance Stephenson had 11 points and eight rebounds for the Pacers, who kept the T-Wolves shooting only 32.6 percent from the field on 29-of-89 accuracy.
