MANILA -- Mobile phone users can now search for people affected by super typhoon "Yolanda" by using the Kapamilya Finder for free.
ABS-CBN has made available the SMS version of the Kapamilya Finder, which was first launched at the ABS-CBN's Tulong Na! Tabang Na! Tayo Na! page, amid the Yolanda tragedy.
The Kapamilya Finder allows the public to search for missing persons or report the status of individuals affected by Yolanda, which is said to be one of the most powerful typhoons ever to hit land.
ABS-CBNmobile SIM subscribers can look for missing persons using the Kapamilya Finder for free by texting: FIND<space>NAME/LOCATION/AGE to 2131.
To report a survivor, users can text: FOUND<space><NAME/CITY/PROVINCE/MORE INFO> to 2131.
ABS-CBN has also made the service available to all other networks (Globe, Smart, Sun, Talk N' Text, TM). The public can use the same syntax and send to 2366.
