MANILA, Philippines – Rubilen Amit and the rest of Team Asia concluded its Queen’s Cup campaign with a 10-4 victory over Team West at the at Resorts World Manila on Thursday.
Amit, who recently reclaimed the World 10-Ball crown, was joined by Team Asia players Ga Young Kim of Korea, Pei Chen Tsai of Chinese Taipei and Siming Chen of China.
Kim was chosen as the tournament’s Most Valuable Player.
The USA-Europe foursome was led by skipper Kelly Fisher, backed up by Allison Fisher, both from England, Austria’s Jasmin Ouschan and America’s Vivian Villareal.
Amit and Team Asia took a commanding 8-3 lead on Wednesday before going for the kill by taking two of the last three games on Thursday.
