MANILA - Classes in kindergarten to high school in the province of Bohol have been suspended anew after Tropical Depression 'Wilma' threatened the region.
Public Storm Signal # 1 has been raised over several provinces in Visayas and Mindanao, including Bohol and Cebu.
Classes in Bohol were supposed to resume Tuesday, after the local government suspended all classes due to the magnitude 7.2 earthquake that hit the province last October 15.
According to Department of Education (DepEd) Bohol 1st Division Superintendent Wilfreda Bongalos, it will be dangerous for students to go back to school due to heavy rains.
There are also huge cracks in some areas in the province, which may cause landslides.
Around 14 fast crafts and ships were stranded in Tagbilaran City and Tubigon ports, affecting 3,271 passengers. - Report from Dexter Ganibe, DZMM
