MANILA, Philippines – AirAsia Zest announced on Monday that the budget airline will be opening a direct flight from Manila to Miri, Malaysia in December.
The airline said its promotional all-in fare to Miri starts at P460, one way. The promo ends on November 3, 2013.
“Staying true to our commitment to give more choices, better value and enhanced services, AirAsia Zest is pleased to announce that we are the first and only airline servicing Manila to Miri route, giving our passengers and OFWs (overseas Filipino workers) access to this majestic city,” AirAsia Zest Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Joy Caneba said.
Travel period for the promo is from December 7, 2013 to April 14, 2014.
“AirAsia Zest’s brand of air travel is characterized by efficiency and good service and we are all geared up to welcome our guest to this new route on December 7, when we commence operations,” Caneba said.
Air Asia Zest A320s will fly to and from Miri four times a week with flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Flights from Manila to Kota Kinabalu, meanwhile, will increase its frequency from four times a week to seven times a week effective December 1.
