MANILA – A teenage boy died after being swept by raging waters in a river in Barangay Tumaga, Zamboanga City on Thursday afternoon.
John Robel Kasan, 17, went to swim in the river with his friends but ended up drowning, according to the victim's father Roldan.
Nico Andico, Kasan's friend, said he and the victim took a dive in the river but the latter was swept by raging waters.
Kasan is the sixth person to die due to the non-stop rains that triggered massive flooding in the city.
