COTABATO CITY -- An administrative officer at the Office of the Regional Governor in Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) was arrested by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Wednesday after 5 grams of shabu were seized inside his apartment in Sinsuat Avenue, Cotabato City.
The suspect was identified as administrative officer V Frederick Dedicatoria.
Aside from the two sachets of shabu, also seized from Dedicatoria were 2 cell phones, identification cards and a weighing scale.
Dedicatoria is now facing charges of illegal possession of dangerous drugs under Republic Act 9165.
The PDEA searched Dedicatoria's apartment by virtue of a search warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 13 in Cotabato City penned by Judge Bansawan Ibrahim last October 3.
