COTABATO CITY – A brownout that lasted more than 6 hours was experienced in Cotabato City, some parts of North Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat and Maguindanao on Wednesday.
Officials said the power outage occurred after one of the feeders of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines tripped in Datu Saudi Ampatuan in Maguindanao.
The outage started at 11:34 a.m., said Cotabato Light and Power Company spokesperson Donjie Vertuoso.
Affected by the outage were consumers of SUKELCO M2/M6, COLIGHT, MAGELCO M1, M2, M4, and COTELCO M6/M7.
Power was restored at 6:06 p.m.
