MANILA, Philippines – Authorities on Friday said they uncovered yet another incident involving the 2 policemen and their asset who were tagged as the suspects behind the recent salvage attempt against a pregnant woman in Laguna.
The Rizal police said Police Officer 1 Antenor Mariquit and PO2 Mario Natividad. with their asset “Toto,” were also involved in another killing.
According to victim “Adeliza,” she heard the suspects say “kami rin ang pumatay sa tiyuhin mo” before they threw her off a cliff in Laguna.
Adeliza survived a brutal murder attempt by the 2 policemen and their asset whom she considered as friends.
The 23-year-old victim sustained 24 stab wounds and a gunshot wound in her right thigh. The then 4-month pregnant victim also suffered a miscarriage while recuperating at a hospital last Monday.
Mariquit and Natividad were charged with the crime of abduction and frustrated murder and unintentional abortion.
Records show that Adeliza’s uncle, Isidro Capistrano, was shot dead last January 12, 2009 after leaving the tricycle terminal in front of the Rainbow Village in Angono, Rizal.
The gunman pretended to be a passenger and shot Capistrano in the head. Witnesses claimed that Capistrano was into drugs.
