Another night, and another person is shot dead by unidentified motorcyle-riding gunmen in Metro Manila amid the Duterte administration's war on drugs.

ABS-CBN Investigative and Research Group's monitoring shows that as of October 11, 2016, a total of 2,029 people have been killed in connection with the government's ongoing war on drugs since May 10, 2016.

Killed during police operations: 1,190 (59%)

Killed by unidentified assailants: 689 (34%)

Bodies found away from the crime scene: 150 (7%)

Daily average of reported fatalities due to police operations: 8

Daily average of all reported drug-related fatalities: 13
