Philippines to host 30th SEA Games

The Philippine national flag is raised as the next 2019 SEA Games hosts, during the closing ceremony of the 29th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) at Bukit Jalil stadium in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday. The Department of Foreign Affairs announced last August 17 that President Duterte approved the Philippines' hosting of the 30th SEA Games with Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano heading the organizing committee. Gordon vs Trillanes

Floodway residents protest demolition

Residents clash with riot police during a protest against the demolition of the former's houses located at East Bank road of Manggahan floodway in Sta. Lucia, Pasig City, Thursday.
