Students push for free education

Student leaders from state universities and colleges in Metro Manila hold a protest at University of the Philippines-Diliman Campus on Wednesday. The group criticized President Duterte’s alleged inaction on the signing of the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act that would provide free tuition and other school fees to students in state universities and colleges (SUCs). Duterte said he was still studying whether to sign it into law.
