MANILA - Four high-ranking government officials saw drops in their respective satisfaction ratings in the last quarter of 2016, the Social Weather Stations survey revealed Wednesday.

Vice President Leni Robredo's net satisfaction rating dropped to +37 in December, 12 points down from her +49 rating in September. Despite the drop, the net satisfaction rating is still at 'good', according to SWS.

Senate President Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel III scored a +30 satisfaction rating this quarter, seven notches below the +37 he got in the third quarter survey, while House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez earned a +10 rating, 12 points below his previous performance.

Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno's net satisfaction score meanwhile went down by 10 points from her personal record-high score of +26 last quarter, settling at a +16 rating.

Despite the drops, all four national government officials were still in their "good" and "moderate" ratings, the SWS said.

The SWS classifies net satisfaction ratings of +70 and above as "excellent"; +50 to +69, "very good"; +30 to +49, "good"; +10 to +29, "moderate"; +9 to -9, "neutral"; -10 to -29, "poor"; -30 to -49, "bad"; -50 to -69, "very bad"; and -70 and below, "execrable."

The survey, first published in BusinessWorld, was conducted from December 3-6, 2016 using face-to-face interviews of 1,500 adult respondents nationwide.
