LOOK: Protests outside Libingan as Marcos is laid to rest

Supporters and protesters gathered outside the Libingan ng mga Bayani (Heroes' Cemetery) on Friday as former president Ferdinand Marcos was laid to rest in a private ceremony, three decades after he was ousted by a military-backed popular revolt.

Here are some of the scenes outside the compound, which serves as the final resting place of former presidents, national artists and war heroes.
