MANILA - An anti-graft court has allowed former senator Jinggoy Estrada to accompany his father, Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada, on a medical trip to Singapore starting on Saturday.

The younger Estrada, who is out on bail while on trial for plunder and graft, was asked to pay a P2.7 million travel bond by the Sandiganbayan 5th Division.

The former lawmaker posted a P1.33-million bail last September after 3 years in detention. He is accused of misusing his "pork barrel" or discretionary funds, allegedly in cahoots with businesswoman Janet Lim-Napoles.
