6 gov't employees linked to Kerwin Espinosa face raps

TACLOBAN CITY-- Six government employees accused of being protectors of suspected drug lord Kerwin Espinosa were charged with administrative cases on Monday.

Three barangay chairmen, a Sangguniang Bayan member, a fiscal, and an employee of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology who is also linked to illegal drugs are facing administrative charges at the Office of the Ombudsman filed by police Chief Inspector Jovie Espenido.

Last October 6, 22 police officers of Region 8 were charged with administrative cases at the Regional Internal Affairs Service (RIAS) for being linked to Espinosa. - with a report from Geron Ponferrada, ABS-CBN News
