MANILA - Six people were hurt after a Philippine Airlines flight from Los Angeles encountered clear air turbulence while landing at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Tuesday, an airline spokeswoman said.
A male passenger of PR103 was wounded on the left leg while a female passenger was hit on the left side of her face. Four crew members suffered body pains after they hit parts of the cabin, PAL spokeswoman Cielo Villanuna said.
One of the crew members was out on a neck brace. The two passengers received medical treatment after the plane landed around 6:40 a.m., Villaluna said.
