MANILA- Senator Gringo Honasan on Thursday maintained his innocence amid graft charges filed against him in relation to the multi-billion peso Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) scam.
Honasan, in a tweet, said he will continue to fight the accusations.
"All my life I have fought everything I am accused of, and I will continue to do so," he said.
A former rebel, Honasan was ordered arrested by the Sandiganbayan 2nd Division on Thursday. The senator is facing two counts of graft for alleged irregularities in the disbursement of P30 million from Honasan's pork barrel funds in 2012.
The charges are bailable at P30,000 per count.
