Former PNP chaplain survives Calamba gun attack

A former director of the Philippine National Police Chaplain Service was shot Wednesday by two unidentified assailants in Calamba City, police said.

Authorities said Rev. Rey Urmeneta sustained gunshot wounds in his left upper back & left arm. He was rushed to the Calamba Medical Center and is now in stable condition, according to his doctor.

Investigation is ongoing.
