Suspects arrested in anti-drug operations in Davao

DAVAO CITY - Police arrested five drug suspects, including one minor, in separate buy-bust operations.

Alex Salvaleon, 40, reportedly sold a sachet of shabu to a policeman, who acted as buyer inside his house, while his brother Ruel Salvaleon was able to elude arrest Saturday night.

Meanwhile, Edwin Castillon, 23, was caught having a pot session together with the two brothers.

Recovered from the suspects were 2 different sachets containing what is believed to be shabu, with a street value of worth more than P25,000, as well as various drug paraphernalia.

Still in Davao City, operatives from Talomo police arrested two drug suspects and one minor in a buy-bust operation in a videoke bar in Matina Aplaya Davao City early morning Sunday.

Florando Vidoya, 27, security guard was arrested after selling shabu to a policeman, who acted as buyer. Five sachets of suspected shabu were also recovered from Vidoya.

Meanwhile, Eudolf Litdres 27, a taxi driver and a minor were arrested for possessing 3 sachets of shabu.
