CEBU – Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) personnel found an area on Olango Island that may have been used as a temporary campsite by suspected Abu Sayyaf Group members.

They found a hammock, sacks probably used as sleeping mats, cans and bowls, a bottle, a plastic container probably used to store water, and sliced fish arranged on top of a box to dry.

The SWAT personnel said the armed men believed to be members of the Abu Sayyaf Group stayed in the area to rest and eat. They continue to interview residents for leads, and are set to scour the rest of Olango Island.
