Today’s friendly reminder: taking unauthorized recordings under a woman’s skirt is a form of sexual harassment.

This, after a 36-year-old Filipino engineer was arrested for taking upskirt videos at Singapore’s Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) stations.

Jan Benedict Mendoza Fuellas admitted “to one charge of intending to insult the modesty of a 26-year-old woman at Bukit Panjang MRT station, and seven counts of intruding into the privacy of unknown women,” reports the Straits Times.

A Singaporean witness narrated that Fuellas got suspiciously close to the woman in an orange dress. He alerted the woman and they brought Fuellas to the station’s control center.

It was then discovered that Fuellas seemed to have managed to record his own collection. The station master found a total of 38 upskirt videos hidden with a password in Fuellas’ phone.

Fuellas is facing 16 weeks in jail.
