Former Pampanga representative Juan Miguel "Mikey" Arroyo left the hospital after being confined at the St. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City for 2 days, his father said.
In a social media post, Mike Arroyo said his son checked out from the hospital.
"While he still suffers from some pain in the ribs, doctors say rest will cure that," Arroyo said, and thanked those who prayed and showed concern for his family.
Earlier on Wednesday, Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo said that Mikey was "already OK."
The former president's son figured in a vehicular accident Monday afternoon in Bacolor, Pampanga.
The car he was riding in, driven by hired driver John Macaraig, collided with another car driven by a policeman, who died on the spot.
