CAMARINES SUR – A dolphin that was found near the Ragay Gulf on Saturday has died.
According to veterinarians from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), the Risso's dolphin was 2.6 meters long and weighed about 300 kilos.
The dolphin had a wound on his head that had already healed.
BFAR officials, however, found a lump in its ear, which probably caused it to lose its appetite.
The dolphin will be buried in the cetacean cemetery in the BFAR compound.
This is the sixth dolphin to be buried by the BFAR in the town of Bato. – report from Kjate Delovieres, ABS-CBN Bicol
