Two Aman investors nabbed for kidnapping

MANILA, Philippines - Two alleged Aman Futures investors were arrested for abducting the 5-year-old son of a woman who placed their money in the company.

The suspects, identified as Amran Maruhon and Aiman Ampatua, admitted to abducting the boy from his home in Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur.

This, after the victim's mother admitted she would be not be able to return the P500,000 they invested in Aman.

"Sinisingil ko ang pera ko. Talagang inamin niyang 'di niya babayaran. Parang biglang nag-init ang ulo ko, napag-interesan ko 'yung bata na kunin para magbayad pero ire-return ko yun sa kuwan, pulis," Ampatua said.

The victim's mother, for her part, said even her own investment in the company got lost.

Police tracked down the suspects and rescued the boy in Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao del Norte. - ANC
