MANILA, Philippines – Ifugao's most wanted drug dealer was arrested around 5 a.m. Thursday, police said.

Suspect Peter Ambojnon, a resident of Sitio Mangandingan, Barangay Hapid, Lamut, Ifugao, was caught inside his home by virtue of a search warrant issued by executive judge Florendo Flor Jr. of Nueva Vizcaya.

The operation was conducted by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Philippine National Police-Crime Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG).

They recovered 10 sachets of “shabu,” drug paraphernalia and an improvised caliber .22 handgun.

Bullets from 9mm, caliber .38 and caliber .45 firearms were also recovered from the home of Ambojnon, the alleged leader of a drug gang.
