MANILA, Philippines – Boxing legend “Sugar” Ray Leonard says it’s hard to pick a winner between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez since he expects another tight battle between the two boxers.

“I really can't, man. For people who don't want to see these guys fight again, it's all going to boil down to that last round again,” Leonard, a former multi-division champion, told RingTV.

Leonard said the fourth encounter between Pacquiao and Marquez could have another cliff-hanger ending just like the first three.

He added that the fighting styles of each boxer seem to fit each other.

“I mean, Pacquiao has, without question, the fastest hands, but this guy (Marquez) is just so great at countering. It's a fight that fight fans have to love because you really can't call it,” said Leonard.

Leonard also said that even if Marquez wins fight No. 4, he still wouldn’t be given enough credit for his performance in the first three bouts.

“No, because it's still going to be subjective, the fact that they may say that at least Pacquiao won two of the first three,” he said.

The fourth ring battle between Pacquiao and Marquez is scheduled to take place this weekend at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Pacquiao scored three 1st-round knockdowns versus Marquez in 2004, but settled for a controversial draw.

But Pacquiao hammered out close decision wins against the Mexican counterpuncher in their succeeding encounters in 2008 and 2011.
