MANILA, Philippines – The body of another Korean diver who was trapped in an underwater cave in Batangas has been recovered.

Navy technical divers retrieved the remains of 40-year-old Kim Jun Ho at 9 a.m on Sunday.

Kim Jun Ho and Jiun Bae, whose body was recovered on Saturday, were both trapped in a cave 200 feet underwater.

Four Korean divers arrived in Manila on November 23 and dove along with a master diver at past 7 a.m.

Only three went back to shore.

Last Friday, authorities said the foreigners were found dead around 190 feet or 60 meters underwater in a small cave. However, their bodies were not retrieved immediately due to poor visibility.

Authorities also said rescuers had a difficult time entering the small cave.

Authorities said they may recommend that the resort where the Korean divers arranged the diving tour be closed if they are found to be negligent.

The remains of the two Koreans are set to be cremated before being taken back to Korea. – wtih reports from ANC and Sarita Kare, ABS-CBN News Batangas
