MANILA, Philippines – Police and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) raided the home of Pastor Rolando Lilio, who is allegedly an agent of Aman Futures.

Authorities were armed with a search warrant when they entered Lilio’s home in T’Boli, South Cotabato.

Authorities found various documents, including receipts from Aman Futures.

Witnesses say people who wanted to invest in Aman used to line up outside Lilio's home.

Lilio claims his family was also a victim, saying he has a son in Pagadian City who encouraged all of them to invest with the company.

The NBI will look through the confiscated documents.

“Tuluy-tuloy pa rin tayo sa pagtanggap ng lahat ng magfa-file ng complaint,” said Atty. Angelito Magno.

In Pagadian City, a resident has filed a complaint against Mayor Samuel Co, alleging that the mayor was the one who encouraged him to invest in Aman Futures.

“Narinig ko na si Mayor nagsimula sa kanyang bahay na tumatanggap ng investment, na-engganyo agad ako sa laki ng tiwala ko kay Mayor,” said Fabian Tapayan Jr.
Mayor Co is already included in the NBI's investigation for issuing a business permit to the company.

Co insists that he had long cancelled Aman's permit.

“We issued a business permit but it was general merchandise ang in-aplayan nila,” said Co.
Meanwhile, Justice Secretary Leila de Lima has created a new panel of prosecutors to assist the NBI in its investigation into the P12 billion investment scam. -- Report from Ronnie Enderes, ABS-CBN News; ANC
