MANILA, Philippines – Journalist Julius Cauzo, who was killed in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija last November 8, was laid to rest on Saturday morning.

Cauzo, a radio anchor of Radio DWJJ, was on his way to work when he was shot by a motorcycle-riding gunman in Flowerlane Street, Barangay Aduas Norte.

Police released the cartographic sketch of the suspect on Thursday.

Aside from the initial P1 million reward that was offered for any information that will lead to the arrest of the Cauzo's killer, Nueva Ecija Gov. Aurelio "Oyie" Umali offered another P1 million for the suspect's immediate arrest.

Authorities are still investigating if Cauzo's killing was work-related since the victim was reportedly voicing out the corrupt practices of some city officials in his radio program.

A manhunt operation has already been launched against the suspect. -- Report from David Oro, dzMM
