CEBU CITY - A 16-year old girl sought the help of policemen alleging she was raped while in a night out with her friends in Cabancalan, Barangay Basak in Cebu City.

The victim alleged that she was raped while her friends were held up by six men with .38 revolver and kitchen knives.

"They raped me, they pointed a gun at me, and they stole all my friends' cellphones," said the victim in the vernacular.

The victim told ABS-CBN News that she and her friends were walking along Cabancalan road, around 12 midnight from a night out, when six men approached them and pointed guns and knives at them.

The victim added that all six men raped her.

With the complaint, policemen in Barangay Pardo launched a hot-pursuit operation and apprehended six boys whom the victim positively identified as the suspects.

The suspects were identified as Percival Arique, 23, Brylle Pino, 19, Romamito Talaugon, 20, Nick Rabaya, 22, Joel Labrador, 25 and a minor.

The suspects strongly denied the allegations however and said that they were having a drinking session in Barangay Pardo, a five-minute drive away from Barangay Basak, when the alleged incident happened.

"We don't know her, if she was a good girl, then she wouldn't be out all night, we believe she's a prostitute," Joel, the suspect, said in the vernacular.

Police Officer 3 Edmund Tiempo told ABS-CBN News that the medical examination of the victim positively showed rape.

The victim said that she is set to file rape charges against the suspects and would never stop unless justice is served.
