Cebu fire leaves 100 families homeless
MANILA, Philippines - Fire gutted several houses in a residential area in Cebu City on Monday night, displacing at least 100 families.
The city fire bureau said fire broke out around 9 p.m. in Barangay Duljo-Fatima, while several residents were in the cemetery.
The fire bureau said that the fire quickly spread because majority of the houses in the barangay were made of light materials.
It took firefighters 2 hours to put out the fire. The city fire bureau pegged the fire's damage to P2 million.
