7 minors rescued from Pampanga cybersex den

MANILA, Philippines -  Seven minors were rescued from a cybersex den in Angeles City, Pampanga on Monday evening.

Police raided three houses in Marisol Subdivision, resulting in the rescue of  the seven minors who were mostly boys. The youngest of the minors was a nine-year-old boy.

Several computer units and networking equipment were also seized.

Three women and a man, believed to be operators of the cybersex den, were also arrested.

"Wala silang porn site. Parang nakikipag-chat sila sa Yahoo! tapos doon nila ine-exploit ang mga kids. Iyung bayaran, through payout center," said Angeles City Police chief Insp. Josef Angeles.

Police said various non-government organizations from the United States, United Kingdom and Australia tipped them off about the operation. – report from John Mark Guda, ABS-CBN News Central Luzon
