COTABATO, Philippines – Unidentified thieves took with around P300,000 worth of cash and equipment from a tarpaulin printing shop in Sinsuat Avenue, Cotabato City on Sunday.

The printing shop is owned by Marlon Tumibang, the engineering head of ABS-CBN Cotabato.

Employee Wilcen Laroza said she was surprised to see that the shop’s padlock and front door were already destroyed when she arrived for work.

"Nagulat kami. Nakita ko ang mga gamit sa loob nagkalat na sa sahig, ang gulo gulo na. Malinis naman tong iniwan kahapon," Laroza said.

Among the items that were missing were three computer monitors, a set of computers, a D40 Nikon DSLR camera, a Sony Vaio laptop and cash worth around P100,000.

Authorities have yet to determine the suspects and an investigation is currently underway.
