Teenage boy hurt in Zambo blast

MANILA, Philippines – A teenage boy was injured when an alleged improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in Zamboanga Sibugay on Wednesday evening.

The explosion occurred in front of a garments shop near the commercial complex of Barangay Poblacion in Imelda town at around 7:40 p.m., according to Armed Forces' Western Mindanao Command spokesperson Lt. Col. Randy Cabangbang.

A 14-year-old boy sustained minor injuries in the explosion.
