Angat Dam reaches spilling level
MANILA - Residents living along river banks in Bulacan province were urged to take precautionary measures as water is expected to be released from the Angat Dam.
ANC’s Dateline Philippines reported Saturday afternoon that the water at the Angat Dam has reached spilling level due to heavy rains brought on by tropical storm Ondoy.
The National Power Corporation, managing the Angat Dam watershed, is set to release water from the dam through the Angat River.
As of Saturday morning, the water level at Angat Dam was 210.85 meters, slightly pass the spilling level of 210 meters.
