The state weather bureau on Friday lifted the public storm signal warning hoisted over Cagayan and Isabela provinces as Tropical Storm Labuyo (Dujuan) moved towards southern Japan.

Weather bureau PAGASA's 11 a.m. weather bulletin said the storm was located 660 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City, packing maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 90 kph.

The storm was heading towards Japan at a speed of 9 kilometers per hour, the weather bureau added.

It added that provinces in the southern part of Luzon and Visayas will experience occasional to frequent rains due to the storm.
