BATANGAS - A small aircraft made a crash landing on a beach in Brgy. Talisay, Calatagan town in Batangas province on Friday afternoon.
Roel Marquez, the pilot of the Cessna 207 aircraft, said he lost control of the plane while it was in the air.
He then decided to make an emergency landing on the seashore.
Marquez blamed metal fatigue for the incident.
The pilot was not injured but his plane's wings and landing gear were damaged.
The aircraft, which is owned by CM-Aro Company, came from Palawan heading to Sangley Point with a cargo of fish. - with a report from Dennis Datu, dzMM
