BULACAN – Ten Bulacan towns are now affected by floods due to heavy rains and the high tide.

These are the towns of Hagonoy, Calumpit, Paombong, Malolos, Guiguinto, Balagtas, Bocaue, Marilao, Meycauayan and Obando.

Bulacan Governor Willy Alvarado said he is concerned because some areas that were hit by floods never experienced flooding in the past.

He also admits there are some areas that are isolated because of the floods.

The Bulacan provincial government is monitoring the Bustos and Ipo dams as well as the flow of water from Nueva Ecija and Pampanga since this can also contribute to the flooding in the province.
