Rivera and Navarro were among the 9 BSU first year tourism students who were crossing the river from Madlum Cave when they were suddenly swept away by raging floodwaters on Tuesday afternoon.
The Bulacan Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) said the flashfloods may have been triggered by the heavy downpour on Mt. Manalmon.

One student, identified as Maiko Bartolome, remain missing.
Two others, identified as Daniel Cunanan and Thea Hernandez, survived.
