DAVAO CITY - Don't tell me to shut up.
Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte has restarted a word war with Commission on Human Rights chairwoman Etta Rosales after the latter told the mayor to keep quiet about Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista's slapping of a drug suspect last week.
Rosales also called Duterte a bad influence for saying that he wants to turn drug suspects into fish food.
In response, the Davao mayor said it is his constitutional right to give his opinion.
"It's my right. Wag niya akong pakialaman!" he said.
He also said Rosales should instead answer allegations linking her to the pork barrel scam of Janet Napoles.
"Lumabas nga ang pangalan niya na nag-cash advance sa Napoles list eh. Yun ang sagutin nya," he said.
Rosales earlier criticized Duterte for allegedly issuing a "shoot-to-kill" order against kidnappers of a businesswoman last July 23. Report by Vina Araneta, ABS-CBN News Southern Mindanao
