MANILA, Philippines – Three people were killed after a store allegedly selling gasoline illegally--also known as "paihi"-- in the town of Pasacao, Camarines Sur exploded and caught fire on Thursday.
Police identified the victims as Rolando Dominguez, Romilyn Tapar and Ramil Quijano.
Police said around 12 drums used for gasoline were recovered after the fire.
They suspect that the gas station operated illegally and sold gasoline in small amounts.
The fire lasted for an hour before it was put out by firefighters.
