MANILA, Philippines – A magnitude 4.7 earthquake struck off Davao Oriental Tuesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said the earthquake occurred at 11:02 a.m. Its epicenter was located 88 kilometers northeast of Mati.
Intensity 3 was felt in Mati, Davao Oriental and Compostela, Compostela Valley.
The earthquake was tectonic in origin and had a depth of 63 kilometers.
No damage was reported. Phivolcs said aftershocks are not expected from the earthquake.
