Man's bite kills brother in Antique?

Bite mark on the chest of victim Ronnie Sisa. The bite mark was inflicted by Ronnie's older brother, Randy, during a fight.

MANILA – A man died after being bitten on the chest by his older brother in Hamtic, Antique.

Ronnie Sasi, 22, died after fighting with his brother, Randy, in their residence in Barangay Buhang.

According to the victim's father, Ronnie was trying to stop his brother, who was drunk, from punching their mother.

Randy, 32, then bit his younger brother on the chest. Ronnie died after the brawl while Randy was placed under arrest.

In jail, Randy admitted to biting his brother but said it was self-defense.

''Ginapos nila ako. Kinagat ko siya dahil hindi ako makahinga,'' Randy said.

Authorities have yet to determine the exact cause of Ronnie's death.

Doctors suspect that Ronnie suffered a heart attack during the brawl.

They are also considering Ronnie's medical history. They noted that Ronnie had donated his kidney and was asthmatic.

Randy is currently detained at the Hamtic Police station. He is facing a parricide charge. – report from Jenel Baclay, ABS-CBN News Iloilo
