3 minors caught selling illegal drugs, rescued

MANILA - Three minors selling illegal drugs were rescued in two separate drug busts in Davao City on Wednesday night.

The Davao City's Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and Sta. Ana police station said they were able to catch the children selling suspected shabu.

First rescued around 8:00 p.m. were two children aged 8 and 9 years old.

They were found selling what was allegedly believed to be shabu inside a shopping mall.

Next rescued was an 11-year-old.

The illegal drugs recovered from both operations were estimated to cost around P300,000.

According to Catherine Egonia of the children's desk of Sta. Ana police, the children have been selling illegal drugs for a long time.
