CAMARINES SUR -- Two fishermen were rescued in Barangay Caranan, Pasacao, Camarines Sur on Tuesday morning after they spent two days at sea.
The fishermen were identified as Meno Supsup and Marlon Millare, both from San Andres, Quezon.
According to the police, the two fishermen went out to sea Sunday afternoon, braving the waves until their boat's engine failed.
They drifted for two days until they were rescued by residents of Barangay Caranan.
Authorities brought Supsup and Millare to the municipal health office for a health check-up.
The fishermen will temporarily stay with the police while waiting to be fetched by their families. -- report from Mylce Mella, ABS-CBN News Bicol
