MANILA – A 13-year-old boy who dreams of having his own concert at the Araneta Coliseum completed the lineup of Bamboo Mañalac's Kamp Kawayan.
Borge Rivera, who hails from General Santos City, performed the song "Stuttering" on the final night of the Blind Audition of "The Voice Kids" on Sunday.
Coach Sarah Geronimo noticed that Rivera wasn't hitting some of the high notes and attributed it to the boy's changing voice because of puberty.
However, Mañalac said Rivera already has the voice and the range, but they still have some polishing to do in order to win the competition.
In an interview before his performance, the 13-year-old admitted that he is often caught singing aloud in his room, as he dreams of having a concert at the Big Dome.
Not that he is a part of Kamp Kawayan, all he has to do is follow the lead of his coach.
Others who made it to Mañalac's team are Douglas David M. Alabe, Grazziana Enriquez, Katherine Anne M. Medina, Stacy Marie Joyce Pineda, Junmark Armecin, Zack Tabudlo, Nathan Bautista, Julienne Echavez, Arianna Ocampo, Rommel Bautista, Edera Mariel Lopez, Juan Karlos Labajo, Natsumi Saito, Edray Leona Tedoro, Maite Zubiri, Gabriel Mark Alasan Capalad and Allina Angela Malaiba.
