Retired soldier killed in Isabela road rage

MANILA – A retired Philippine Army soldier was killed in a road rage incident in Cabagan, Isabela, police said.

Chief Inspector Edwin Caluba, chief of Cabagan Police, said 55-year-old Pedro Buraga was shot dead by a motorcycle backrider in Barangay San Antonio.

Witneseses said an altercation ensued between Buraga and the unidentified motorcycle rider after their vehicles almost collided with each other.

Buraga, a resident of Barangay San Juan in Cabagan town, was shot dead in front of his wife.

The two suspects, who both wore helmets, immediately fled the scene after the incident. – report from Rachel Itchon, dzMM
