Gumiit survived the incident unscathed.

In a pursuit operation, Nasugbu police were able to track the hiding place of the two suspects and arrested them.

Police identified the suspects as 18-year-old Sammy Husay and 23-year-old Armando Mangabat Jr. They are both residents of Silang, Cavite

The two suspects who were able to escape were identified as Ronald and Rafael Comia.
