MANILA, Philippines – A man was allegedly beheaded by his two neighbors in Argao, Cebu on Sunday.
Suspects Antonio and Emelio Solis reportedly attacked victim Carlito Nazara using a sickle while he was lying on his bed inside his house.
Nazara's live-in partner supposedly tried to stop them.
A wounded Nazara was able to escape the suspects but the Solis brothers followed him.
The victim’s head was later found 15 meters away from his body.
Initial investigations said the victim and the suspects had figured in an altercation. The Solis brothers allegedly plotted revenge on Nazara.
The suspects, on the other hand, claimed that they were receiving death threats from the victim.
Authorities also learned that the victim was facing murder charges.
The Solis brothers are now under the custody of Argao Philippine National Police and are facing murder and frustrated murder charges. – from a report by Edgar Escalante, ABS-CBN News Cebu
